The hearts you've stolen Are in cages they've set And the words you say Don't mean a thing God knows your words Yes, He knows just what you've done Once you knew that you had lost your head, It was all downhill from there It was all downhill The words you say Don't mean a thing And the words you mean Are all misread The diary entries have heard your words Yes it knows just what you've done Once you knew that you had lost your head, It was all downhill from there It was all downhill (2x) And it feels like the first time And it feels like the first year(2x) Like the first time we met eyes

Overboard 02:48
Lately I've been thinking Of ways I know you're taking You're taking me out You're taking me out Lately I've been feeling Like all you're ever doing Is bringing me down I'm going down, down, down When we grow older will you be the girl you used to be? When we fall further and our boat has drifted out to sea, Will you abandon ship on our way back home? Will you be my sail in the raging storm? Will you guide home away from all this doubt? Come pull me out La da da da And just like that, I knew this love would last I only hope to see this heart would cast A shadow on you I'm going somewhere far away Take me to the place where I belong Ahh yeah And only the sailor knows his bride

And once upon it The yellow bonnets Garland all the line And you were waking And day was breaking A panoply of song And summer comes to Springville Hill Here's a hymn to welcome in the day Heralding a summer's early sway And all the bulbs all coming in, To begin The thrushes bleating battle with the wrens Disrupts my reverie again Pegging clothing on the line Training jasmine how to vine Up the arbor to your door, And more You're standing on the landing with the war You shouldered all the night before And once upon it The yellow bonnets Garland all the line And you were waking And day was breaking A panoply of song And summer comes to Springville Hill A barony of ivy in the trees Expanding out it's empire by degrees And all the branches burst a' bloom Into bloom Heaven sent this cardinal, maroon To decorate our living room And once upon it The yellow bonnets Garland all the line And you were waking And day was breaking A panoply of song And summer comes to Springville Hill And years from now When this old light isn't ambling anymore Will I bring myself to write "I give my best to Springville Hill" And once upon it The yellow bonnets Garland all the line And you were waking And day was breaking A panoply of song And summer comes to Springville Hill

Surrender 05:53
Here we go I'm on my own, scared to know Just what to show of my heart I just let go Of all my pride, set me aside And I'll go back to the start As I fall apart You catch me before I hit the floor Before I walk right out that door, You embrace me, You embrace me Walking alone on an empty street You take my hand, it's where we meet It's a sweet surrender Take me back To my home town, I hit the ground And I fall in head first Break the tide I swim for land, You take my hand Your grace is all I thirst As I fall apart You catch me before I hit the floor Before I walk right out that door, You embrace me, You embrace me Oh 'cause I'm walking alone on an empty street You take my hand, it's where we meet It's a sweet surrender Now I know that these times are so hard But I see a light in front of the storm As I wait for you to come back home Sometimes I just miss your voice I surrender (6x)

Findings 04:57
This structured voice leads me back and forth With no way of telling what's up And my heart can't ever decide What I really need With my hands stretched towards My faith in you restored And I know I won't ever find What I want If I stray from the narrowed path Don't be fooled by my unwillingness My humility lies beside me Someday I meet hope to meet it With my body in the way of my soul I need to find you With my hands stretched towards My faith in you restored And I know my heart can't ever find What I want If I stray from the narrowed path Don't be fooled by my unwillingness I'll find my way(x8) This part I know to be true to you

Jesus, Jesus, could you tell me what the problem is With the world and all the people in it? Because I’ve been hearing stories about the end of the world But I’m in love with a girl and I don’t wanna leave her And the television screams such hideous things They’re talking about the war on the radio They say the whole thing’s gonna blow And we will all be left alone No we’ll be dead and we won’t know what hit us Jesus, Jesus, if you’re up there won’t you hear me ‘Cause I’ve been wondering if you’re listening for quite a while And Jesus, Jesus, it’s such a pretty place we live in And I know we fucked it up, please be kind Don’t let us go out like the dinosaurs Or blown to bits in a third world war There are a hundred different things I’d still like to do I’d like to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower Look up from the ground at a meteor shower And maybe even raise a family Jesus, Jesus, there are those that say they love you But they have treated me so damn mean And I know you said ‘forgive them for they know not what they do’ But sometimes I think they do And I think about you If all the heathens burn in hell, do all their children burn as well? What about the Muslims and the gays and the unwed mothers? What about me and all my friends? Are we all sinners if we sin? Does it even matter in the end if we’re unhappy? Jesus, Jesus, I’m still looking for answers Though I know that I won’t find them here tonight But Jesus, Jesus, could you call me if you have the time? And maybe we could meet for coffee and work it out And maybe then I’ll understand what it’s all about

Sunflower 04:41
Now i am faced, faced to face the face of Time And shes counting down I'm so scared, terrified to return on home Return home without you And if i do , I will walk the leather right off my shoes So i can be face to face with my baby Take a breathe and hold You Now shes adrift, in an open field that the world has put out With flowers blooming around her Like a ship at sea, up and over the waves she'll be while I'm back on land bidding farewell with the wave of a hand As tears come down, oh they'll come down and as they do, its off with the shoes and into the blue So i can be face to face with my baby Take a breathe and hold you/ have you Don't worry girl Over the mountains and through the world Nothing can stop you Take a chance Follow your heart and that is that Otherwise you'll lose yourself in facing the times, I Render you free now Get through the hills Enter the world you're meant to be Take a breathe and hold / have ME!
